NOTE: Effective 07/01/04 on all construction projects there will be a non-refundable fee charged for plans and specifications in the amount of $26 for projects estimated to cost up to $100,000 and $52 for projects estimated to cost beyond that amount. Cash, or business, cashier's, or personal check, or credit cards will be accepted as payment (currently only Visa and MasterCard are accepted). A copy of the solicitations posted will be available for review at City Hall. Please contact the Purchasing Division for details.

IFB 135011-On-call Emergency and Critical Construction Services The work to be perfomed, in general, consists of furnishing all labor, tools, equipment, materials, and transportation required to provide emergency and critical construction service as needed for a period of three years at the Regional Water Quality Control Plant (RWQCP). In general, the scope of work may include but not be limited to the installation and/or repair of pipes, concrete walls, valves, slide/sluice gates, electrical systems, metal and concrete tanks, sumps, pumps, ducts, and typical wastewater equipment. The work may also involve the removal of hazardous materials as required by City, including all incidental and related work as required by the General Requirements, Specifications, and Drawings in the Invitation for Bids (IFB) available upon request. Note:
A pre-Bid Conference is scheduled for Thursday, March 4, 2010. The Conference shall begin promptly at 10:00 a.m. and shall be held at the Regional Water Quality Control Plant, Administration Conference Room, 2501 Embarcadero Way, Palo Alto, CA (location). The Conference is mandatory. All prospective Bidders must attend.

RFP 134955- Electric Efficiency Financing Program for Business; Third Party Administrator The City of Palo Alto is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide services under this Request for Proposal (RFP) to contract with one or more non-government organizations (NGOs or Consultants) to design and implement a business electric efficiency loan program, provide loan management services and provide evaluation measurement and verification (EM&V) for CPAU’s utility-financed zero-interest business electric efficiency loan program. Customer service is a particularly important aspect of the NGO’s service because the NGO will, essentially, be representing CPAU when interacting with CPAU customers and contractors. In addition, the NGO will be responsible for assuring operation in accordance with applicable laws. The required services are described in the Scope of Services.
