Current Major Utility Projects

The City of Palo Alto’s Utilities Engineering Division replaces, upgrades and/or undergrounds electric, water, gas, wastewater facilities in your neighborhood. More specific information is found under each major Capital Improvement Project (CIP). These are not all the CIP projects the Utilities Department has under construction. If you have any questions regarding CIP projects not listed, please call (650) 566-4502 for electric or call (650) 566-4503 for water, gas, and wastewater.
